Terrific Under Ten Tuesdays: Springtime Easter Wreath

Kindra's hosting another inspirational round of 'Terrific Under Ten Tuesdays' today.  And since she's sharing something Dollar Tree Store-inspired, I thought I would too.

Last year -- in an effort to beat the late winter doldrums -- I bought several floral and Easter egg picks at The Dollar Tree Store and came home to create something festive and 'springy' ... all for much less than $10.00 .. since I already had the grapevine wreath on hand.

I can't wait to display this little bargain beauty again!

Thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget to take a peek at what's happening here:

I love your projects, Colleen. That's how we always connected...with our thrifty projects. I just love this one. Gotta love those dollar stores. :)

I really loved your wreath!!!! I was sooooooo ready for spring and some warmer weather! Being in Florida, I'm a little ahead of you and blooms are popping out everywhere!!!!! I just caught up on older posts, and I just want you to know that you are in my prayers as you go through your treatments! I've been there, I know what you are going through. I love your "hope, courage, strength" signs!!!! Never let go of that. I read your one post about your child saying that you will be the same inside. So sweet. But you know, in some ways, you will be a little different. You will be stronger, more couragous, more sympathetic, more appreciative of life. You will value each day more, smile more, sing more, and hug more! What can I say, I'm goingto be your loudest cheerleader here!!!!

What would we do with those dollar stores, LOL! I think we should all put our spring wreaths out now. Maybe Mother Nature needs a hint that we're ready.

Hi...first of all I just adore your bowl fillers. What a great idea.
I hope you are feeling fairly well with all your treatments. I have been on chemo for almost 5 years. Right now I take a pill, but I had infusions every 3 weeks for 15 months...so girlfriend...I KNOW. Hang in there. It does get better. Look at it this way, you will NEVER have another bad hair day!! I am off to see more of your wonderful creations!!

Hi Colleen from sunny [no... read wet and rainy] Queensland, Australia!! I've come over from Painting Thyme and she would have to be one of your best supporters. So I felt that a few prayers from over here may help as well. We girls, gotta stick together right!!! So blessings and hugs from me to you.

Awesome Colleen! I have to admit that I just skip right over their floral section without even looking. I need to stop and take a look next time! You picked up some really cute pieces. Love the wreath!
